I don't recommend anyone use this store for automotive services.

Raymond Polz was very helpful in finding the items I was looking for. Good job Raymond ! They should have more like him. A very nice polite young man.

I am completely disappointed in the quality of service provided by the Automotive Dept. in Fort Frances. I recently (2 months ago) had new all season tires installed by Canadian Tire and when I went to change over to my winter set, I could not remove the lug nuts they were installed so tight. (They wouldn't even budge with a 1/2" air powered impact. Torque spec is only 115 ft-lb)

I brought the vehicle to Canadian Tire and explained the issue and they apologized and swapped them out. However, I was still charged to swap them out and had to pay the bill to get the keys to my vehicle.

Luckily for them, they have a lot of stores with a lot of products. I've lived across Canada and am amazed that every single Canadian Tire employee has the natural ability to avoid their customers by any means necessary, and infinity more amazed that they can spend their days surrounded by products and manage to learn nothing about them. In a world where hospitality is the foundation of any business, I applaud Canadian Tire for their rebellious stance. *slow, slow clap*

Also, one time my friend had a flat tire in the parking lot while she was on her own with her twin toddlers and infant son, and no one in the shop would help her.

Lots of tasteful stuff at a decent price. Definitely Canada's tool shed, they have everything.

This Canadian Tire has gone downhill ever since the new owner has taken over.

Nice enough store if you know what you're looking for and can find it yourself. Difficult to find staff to assist you though.
